We opened our first shop in Llanfyllin in 2009 to help raise funds for the Community Car Scheme. The shop has gone from strength to strength and in 2019/20 took over £26,800 to help keep our volunteer drivers on the road. We are based in the old Spar shop which gives us plenty of space. All sorts of bargains can be found including clothes, books and bric a brac – we survive solely on local donations and are often inundated with new items to sort and sell. We have a great bunch of volunteers, but always welcome more. The shop is now a focal point in the town with people popping in to shop and stopping for a chat.
